Repository Policy

Glossema: Journal of Linguistics Perspectives encourages authors to share, disseminate, and archive their research. We recognize the importance of self-archiving in increasing the visibility and impact of scholarly work. The journal adopts the following repository policy:

1. Submitted Version (Pre-print) Authors are permitted to store the submitted version of their manuscript (the version before peer review) in their personal archives or private cloud storage (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive) for backup purposes. Sharing this version publicly before the peer review process is completed is generally discouraged to prevent confusion with the final published article.

2. Accepted Version (Post-print) Authors are permitted to store the accepted manuscript (the version after peer review but before final layout/typesetting) in their personal archives or private repositories. Authors are advised to link this version to the final published article using the DOI once it is available.

3. Published Version (Version of Record) Glossema allows and explicitly encourages authors to deposit the final published PDF (Version of Record) in:

  • Institutional Repositories (University Libraries).

  • Subject-based repositories.

  • Personal websites.

  • Academic social networks (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu).

Since all articles in Glossema are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC-BY 4.0), authors and the public are free to share, copy, and redistribute the material in any medium or format, provided the original work is properly cited.

4. Archiving by the Journal To ensure long-term digital preservation, all published articles in Glossema are automatically deposited and indexed in national repositories such as Portal GARUDA (Garba Rujukan Digital) and Google Scholar.
